Bentivoglio Bergamin, 84, of Mooers Forks passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the UVM Health Network – CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born May 22, 1933 in Italy, the son of Umberto and Amelia (Zoppei) Bergamin.
Ben enjoyed hunting and golfing in his early years and he was proud of his garden and trees. He was also very active in his community in Montreal. He was one of the founders of Mission Maria Ausiliatrice in Riviere des Prairies, Montreal, Quebec.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monique (Gregoire) Bergamin; one sister, Maria Bergamin; four brothers, Angelo Bergamin, Guiseppe Bergamin, Julio Bergamin and Ferruccio Bergamin.
Left behind to cherish the memory of Ben are his children, Francois Bergamin of Mooers Forks; Suzanne Bergamin and her husband, Anthony Romano of Montreal, Quebec, Marie Bergamin of Ann Arbor, Michigan; one brother, Oscar Bergamin and his wife Nicole of Laval, Quebec; and six grandchildren, Lucia Bergamin, Isabella Bergamin, Matteo Romano, Savannah Romano, Noah Romano and Maggie Bragagnolo.
Funeral services will be announced in Montreal.
